I’m not particularly eager to talk about myself much because I am a listener in general, and I usually want to learn from the people around me. I think everyone has an interesting story, and it would be a shame to miss the opportunity to get to know it by rambling about me the whole time.

BUT, since you’re in my HQ, let me introduce myself.

I’m Cristina-Simona Anghel. You can call me Cristina or Simona, I don’t really have a preference since depending on some circumstances, people call me either or both. The name “asimonna” is my last name’s initial followed by my middle name with a little bit of spice. I’ve chosen this username since 2012 I joined Instagram, and it’s been my personal brand ever since.

Born in 1993, I spent most of my life in Brasov, Romania - my hometown; before flying away to different countries after finishing high school. I went on to pursue higher education in the UK at Coventry University where I studied BA Business Management. Then I spent a few years in China mostly in Hangzhou and Nanjing, immersed in the culture I’ve learned to love the people, customs, food, and language. Next, I returned to the UK to Graduate school to do a MA in Digital Marketing, knowing that I definitely wanted to pursue a career in this amazing marketing sphere. Circumstances brought me back home to Romania where I’ve had the amazing chance of meeting awesome people with whom I’ve created GOJI REPUBLIC.

This website is a portal to my journey as a millennial figuring out life in these uncertain times. I want to share my passion for marketing, skincare and personal development alongside other things that I think might be useful or entertaining to you.
